Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup tightly packed light brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Real Vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 1 package or 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Beat shortening and margarine with sugars until fluffy. Mix in vanilla and eggs until well blended. Add flour, salt, and baking soda slowly while mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Preferred to cook on a baking stone for 14 minutes. Allow to cool a few minutes before moving to a cooling rack. If using a metal sheet pan, line with baking parchment.
